WhatsApp has finally received a nod from NPCI to expand WhatsApp Pay to around 100 million users. The feature was only available to 40 million users. WhatsApp has received permission from the NPCI to expand WhatsApp Pay to over 100 million users in India. NPCI asked WhatsApp to go for a phase-by-phase rollout. A spokesperson said that NCPI had finally given approval to WhatsApp to roll out the feature to 100 million users. The feature was initially available to 40 million users only.
